I am Kemisha Joseph, and I am here not only to provide support, but also to help you manage difficult emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. My number one goal is to help you become a better you. Don’t think you have to face your struggles alone. I have been trained in a variety of therapy modalities (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectal Behavioral Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy), and use these methods to provide the proper treatment and help you reach your goals.
Not only do I provide individual help, but I also specialize in marriage, couples, and family counseling as well. Let’s face it, relationships can be hard, but they don’t have to be if you seek proper help and learn new ways to navigate the relationships you have in your life. We are not meant to be alone, and you don’t have to be.
Coming from a Caribbean background, I am here to advocate for those who feel like therapy is not for them or who feel that they don’t have a voice. I am here to tell you therapy is for you and you do have a voice. I am here to listen, empathize, and support you during your healing process.
